RAM Conductors’ Showcase: Beethoven and Vaughan Williams

Join the Enyi Okpara and Oleksandr Filiak, as they conduct students from the Royal Academy of Music in two works written during periods of conflict. Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony was written during the Napoleonic Wars, whilst Vaughan Williams’ bucolic Fifth Symphony was composed during Britain’s darkest days of the Second World War. Oleksandr Filiak conducts Beethoven, and Enyi Okpara conducts Vaughan Williams.
